Contract Opportunity: Research Assistant (Canada Summer Jobs)

The Research Assistant will assist the BVRC forest stand dynamics program on a field-based research project to understand the consequences of rehabilitating forests after wildfire on carbon stores and sequestration, as well as wildlife. Eligible candidates must be experienced in a field relating to the position (e.g. life sciences, earth sciences, or social sciences with an emphasis on interdiscilinary studies).

Job Opportunity: Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Forest Fire Science

A well-qualified researcher is sought to work as part of a multi-institutional research program trying to understand and predict wildfire behavior in the spruce, pine, and aspen dominated forests of central British Columbia.
