Seeking instructors for a new training course
The Bulkley Valley Research Centre, in collaboration with the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, is developing a Vegetation and Soils training course for the Environmental Stewardship Initiative. We are looking for instructors who can provide foundational training in plant identification or soil description. This course will either take place between June 19th-23rd, or June 27th-30th.

Environmental Damages Fund
New Environmental Damages Fund (EDF) funding is available for projects in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Northwest Territories that address EDF’s priority issues of restoration, environmental quality improvement, research, and education/awareness. The deadline for submissions in British Columbia is July 28, 2017. For more information on eligibility and how to apply, visit the EDF website.
