Free Wetlandkeepers Course | Smithers June 12-15th

The BC Wildlife Federation is hosting a free Wetlandkeepers course in Smithers to teach local residents valuable environmental stewardship skills.

The Wetlandkeepers Courses are 2.5-day workshops that educate participants about wetland conservation and help engaged citizens to take an active role in protecting their natural wetland resources.

Are you interested in better understanding and protecting your local watershed and wetlands?

Courses are suitable to anyone from high school students to professionals and are designed as citizen science tools to empower everyday people in conservation activities.

People who have benefited from these courses include consultants, planners, environmental/conservation groups, government and First Nations representatives, engaged community members and keen outdoors-types.

When: June 12-14, 2015 (Fri:5:30 pm - 9 pm, Sat: 9:30 am - 5pm, Sun: 9 am - 5 pm)
