Important Information for Participants

Conference Proceedings will be produced within 6-8 weeks after the conference and posted here and on the Adding It All Up event page of the Bulkley Valley Research Centre website. An email will be sent out to participants when they are finalized.

The Adding It All Up conference is fast approaching and we would like you to note a few things as you make your plans.

Paperless Package Files:





The venue for the conference has been confirmed.
Presentations will take place in the Banquet Hall, Hudson Bay Lodge, 3251 Highway 16 East, Smithers.
Exhibits and Posters will be available for viewing in the Yellowhead room.

Arrival in Smithers:  If you are staying at the Hudson Bay Lodge, call the hotel on arrival at the airport for pick up. Taxis and rental cars are also available at the airport (see the Transportation page of the website).

Conference Packages:  You can pick up conference packages on Wednesday, November 14, from 7:30 – 8:30 AM at the Hudson Bay Lodge, 3251 Highway 16 East, in Smithers. Those who have elected a paperless package will receive a memory stick containing conference information, which can be transferred to a laptop. If you request a conference package in a different format than was on your registration form, there will be a $10.00 charge.

Presentations:  All presentations will be in the Banquet Hall at the Hudson Bay Lodge 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on November 14 and 15, and from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM on November 16. There will be a guest speaker at the banquet on November 14. Presentations are listed on the conference website (Agenda).

Food:  Lunch and refreshments will be provided on November 14 and 15. Only refreshments will be provided on November 16. The banquet will take place on November 14 at the Hudson Bay Lodge.

Exhibits and Posters:
  Exhibits and posters will be available for viewing in the Yellowhead room during lunches and breaks and on the evening of November 15.

If for some reason you are not able to attend the conference, our policy is a 50% refund until November 7, 2012 and 0% refund after November 7, 2012. However, substitutions are welcome, so please send someone in your place.
