Thinking of making a donation to the BVRC? Great! All donations, big or small, are extremely valuable to the BVRC. These donations contribute to a wide range of activities and allow us to continue to operate and implement our extensive, high-quality and diverse research program and deliver our scholarship program.
We have two key donation categories:
The BVRC focuses its research on the sustainability of our ecosystems, cultures, and communities throughout the northwest and beyond. Our research initiatives are often multi-year and involve collaboration among a range of groups involved in natural resource management, including industry, government, First Nations, academic institutions, and conservation organizations. Along with objective research, the Centre provides a single point of contact for individuals and organizations with diverse perspectives and needs to meet and engage.
The Irving Fox Memorial Scholarship for Natural and Cultural Resources Research and Management is awarded to a student from northwestern British Columbia, or a student enrolled in or entering studies in natural and cultural resources research and/or management in northwestern British Columbia. The value of the award is $750 - $1000. We are always looking for donations to ensure we can continue to offer this worthwhile scholarship.
All donations are tax deductible.
