Mountain Pine Beetle

British Columbia’s mountain pine beetle epidemic and its effects on forestry and wildlife habitat have been a focus of BVRC research for more than a decade. Research surrounding stand structure, regeneration, timber supply and the future of northern B.C.’s forestry industry are all conducted through the BVRC.
