The purpose of this project is to:
- Prepare a summary of best available knowledge regarding the status and distribution of rare plant communities in the Atlin Taku area;
- Map the known occurrences of rare plant communities based on:
- Terrestrial Ecosystem Mapping that exists for part of the area,
- Expert knowledge of known occurrences, and
- Photo interpretation, where appropriate;
- Identify which rare plant communities are most threatened or sensitive to resource development.
