The purpose of this project is to support the establishment of a new and enduring collaborative arrangement for monitoring the implementation of the Morice Water Management Area plan in the Skeena Watershed. This is year one of the project.
The main outcome of the project is to establish an enduring governance framework and capacity to ensure the best information is available for monitoring and protection of salmon habitat in the Morice watershed.
The three outputs are:
- Morice Monitoring Trust established.
- Initial baseline data established for the Morice Water Management Area as per the operational plan.
- The Morice Monitoring Trust to confirm the 2015 Monitoring Plan.
