2025 Irving Fox Memorial Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to Ethan Vanderpol – the 2025 Irving Fox Memorial Scholarship recipient!  Ethan is currently in his first year at Lethbridge Polytechnic, taking the Natural Resource Compliance diploma. His objective is to become a Conservation Officer and work in northern British Columbia.

Ethan’s family moved to Smithers about 8 years ago and he graduated in 2025 from Ebenezer School. He is hoping to return to Smithers next summer for work before tackling second year. In his free time Ethan enjoy hiking, hunting and board games.
